Parenting Publications of America awarded me the Silver for “Humor” Parenting Columnist of the Year for the second year in a row on Saturday night. The only thing that could make me happier in this moment is…well, that blessed gold which eluded me AGAIN!!! But alas, there is still someone funnier than I, and she lives in Boston.  

She’s also a helluva lot colder.

So congrats to her (her name is Carol - they’re always named Carol), and congrats to me…I’ve finally learned my lesson, i think.

Leaving your readers wanting more isn’t always a good thing.
